Cinnamon Rolls
What do I do when I am snowed in at my house? Bake of course...we found a super fast recipe and VERY easy!
Cinnamon Roll Dough Ingredients:
*2 1/2 cups flour
*2 tablespoons sugar
*1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
*1/2 teaspoon baking soda
*1/2 teaspoon table salt
*1 1/4 cups buttermilk
*2 tablespoons melted butter
*1 teaspoon vanilla
Cinnamon Sugar Filling Ingredients
*3/4 cup packed brown sugar
*1/4 cup granulated sugar
*3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
*1/8 teaspoon salt
Cream Cheese Frosting Ingredients
*3 ounces cream cheese (room temp)
*4 tablespoons butter
*1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
*1/8 teaspoon salt
Directions
1. Pre-heat oven to 425
2. Melt 8 tablespoons of butter to use through the whole recipe (60 seconds worked for us)
3. Brush a 9 inch pan with a tablespoon of butter to coat the bottom and sides
4. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
5. In a separate bowl combine buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla
6. Add liquids to the dry ingredients and mix well. You may want to add a little more flour until you reach a non-sticky consistency. Knead the dough until is is smooth.
7. In a bowl combine all of the ingredients for the cinnamon sugar filling, then add one tablespoon of the melted butter and mix it in until it is crumbly
8. Flour your work surface and roll the dough out into a 12x9 inch rectangle
9. Brush the dough with a tablespoon or two of butter
10. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top leaving 1/2 inch border around the edge. Gently press the mixture into the dough.
11. Begin rolling the dough up starting with the longer side. Roll tightly so that the mixture stays inside the roll while it bakes.
12. Once the dough has been rolled up tightly, cut into 8 equal pieces and place into your greased pan.
13. Brush the tops of the cinnamon rolls with the remaining butter.
14. Bake for 25-28 minutes
15. While the rolls bake, mix together the cream cheese frostin ingredients until smooth.
16. When the cinnamon rolls are done, let them cool for about 5 minutes. Remove from the pan and load on the frosting! Our first tryAnd the second...and yes I made two batches in less than 24 hours...and I only had ONE and they are all gone.

It's ova!
I never knew I had so many friends that thought they were politicians...I LOVE America, but I was so frustrated with the Americans last night I had to stay off of social media...I'm still avoiding it but of course I found the time to make my immature input on it....and NO I wasn't for Obama my hashtags confirmed it but I you can't see them!
Yep, my best friend and I joined the bandwagon that says you want to move out of the country...but at least Australia is pretty!
And the main reason I am sooooo excited for the election to be over...I can officially get in Christmas mode! We've already watched this this week, and I'll watch it a few more before Christmas actually gets here! BEST TIME OF THE YEAR!

BFFS
It's nothing new to say that my friends mean the world to me. I really think I have the best friends ever for me, but I am extra thankful for my three BFFS!
Katie...seriously we are like the same person. She just gets me. I don't have to say anything and she can tell you what I am thinking/feeling. Friday night we had some BFF time right after work and when Terry called he couldn't even understand what I was saying because I was laughing so hard. It's never a dull moment while we are together! We have countless memories and can't wait to see what the future brings for us. Thanks BFF for always being there!
J...he puts up with so much of my crap, calls me out on it, and of course never lets me forget all my blonde moments. I'm so glad I never stopped being his friend, even though he made part of middle school miserable. He's always there, and puts up with the real me.
Jon...we annoy the crap out of each other, but I can't imagine not spending some time with him every week. So many of the little things is what makes our friendship work. Sonic drinks, Mickey D runs, College football, Utah Jazz, RSL games, most important our UTES, temple drives, sleeping (our friends like to make bets who will fall asleep faster between the two of us), and just talking. Going to miss him if he leaves the state for med school.
We really do bug the crap out of each other, they've teased me so much I've cried, J is my punching bag, Jon and I talk like we are the most amazing and attractive people ever, they still sterotype me, we sound like brothers and sister, but I can't imagine having anyone else to go to through all these years with. Who else is going to see every side of me? As soon as I start talking about my girly drama they roll their eyes, yet hours later they're concerned for my well being. I got lucky to have these two put up with me, and everything I have gone through in the last 10+ years!

Scattered
My brain is running a million miles a minute at the moment so bare with me.
Last night I met up with friends for some Noodles and Co. SOOO yummy! I live for the nights with great food, and amazing company! It's so weird to think that I've barely known them for a year...Oh Jake what would we do without your pride in your Asian heritage? Love him and the rest of the "Meatheads"
Second....this boy had a ticket for me for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. He thought it would be great for me to come out, see him and our friends that play for the Dolphins, get a vacay and see the city! He wanted to pay for everything...I would fly out Thursday, and come back Tuesday. Who would pass up on a FREE trip right?! My roommates were having a party Friday, annual blackout game was Saturday, and family festivites on Sunday just didn't seem like it was meant to be. Then I learn of Sandy...OH EM GEE! I knew I wasn't talking myself out of it. Happy to say that Schlaudy is safe even though Sandy was an angry woman. I will get out to see him soon though...Love you Schlaud! Our all day daily chats are my highlight of the week and the inside scoop on his celebrity teammates (i.e. Tim Tebow and rumored clelbrity girlfriend) make me feel so cool!
Seriously, I'm obsessed with my kickball team! They are HILARIOUS! BFF is planning a night at the condo with them and I can hardly wait to gain my 6 pack from laughter after spending time with them! EVERY team in the league HATES US!!!! I would to if I wasn't one of them. Thursdays are my favorite day because of them! We dominated last night 15-4, I stole third base and made it home. Nobody saw it coming, my team was laughing that nobody was paying attention and it cost them a point! Thanks Ca$hin for my weekly hour of pure laughter and anger!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to this stud! Ahh if all my friends lived in one city I would be in heaven! Instead I will settle for face time with him, and watching him on TV every week (Aside from their bye week Sunday)
Tricks for Treats
Halloween was once again a success. I am not a big fan of this holiday, I literally count down for it to be over! There are few things I love more than the holiday season and now that it's here I couldn't be more excited!
I headed down to my sisters as soon as I got off of work! We made goodies, ate her cute mummy dogs, and headed out to my dads!
These goobs LOVED trick or treating! Meemers complained that her candy was to heavy but other than that they enjoyed every minute of it
Don't get me started on my brother-in-law...he made me cry AGAIN, Mia cried (my sister blames me) but she tells me she isn't scared of clowns so I'm not taking the blame.
My cute co-worker! I found an excuse to wear jeans to work but she went all out!
I've already listened to a little T-Swift and JBiebs Christmas music! I can't help but get excited for these next two months!

Double digits
SHE'S 10!!! I still can't believe that I have a niece that has hit the double digits! Seriously time is FLYYYYYYYYYYING by! It's no surprise that I am obsessed with my goober nieces but I feel so privileged to be such a big part in their life! 10 years ago exactly my dad was checking me out of school, I was eating Subway in the car and on my way to hold that precious baby again.
She truly is one of my best friends. We love to go for drives and jam out to our music.
Lucky for me we are a very supportive family, we don't miss concerts, plays, comps, games, or anything we participate in, 100% supportive no matter what! Here we are goofing off but of course there is a text book right behind me...I remember studying the whole vacay!
We have basically been glued to each other since day one...everyone thought I was a teen mom, NOPE just winning BEST AUNT AWARD!
My partner in crime!
Trying to remember when she got so big.
Disneyland with my goob!
Babysitting boredom leads to makeovers and silly pictures.
MickeyD's in St. Geezy. She was a trooper sitting through my ALL DAY COMPETITIONS!
Getting lost in the corn maze!
My shopping buddy, partner in crime, drama queen, boy crazy lover, car jamming bud, best friend, Pretty Little Liar watcher, fashionista goob....HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Welcome to the double digits Nanny! I love you sooooooooo much and am so grateful for the best bud to go through these crazy 10 years with! Here we go with decades more to go!
