Thursday night there was an institute carnival that we thought we would go and make a showing at but ended up being the life of the party! There was 10 of us to start out and by the end of the night our enitre group was there! We had so much fun dancing the night away and then went and played ROCK BAND and other random games at my friend Corbins. Friday is when is started to not be the best week. My morning started out with jury duty and I would rather have been at school but oh well I guess, I have to go back on Tuesday and I am not looking forward to it. I got called into work and NOBODY was at the mall and I left just in time to make it to the UTAH FOOTBALL VICTORY PARADE! Parades in the middle of January in Utah is not the brightest idea but it was well worth it!

The ONLY UNDEFEATED team in COLLEGE FOOTBALL!

My favorite returning player on OFFENSE- Shmorb!

There's the man, Freddie! He is a little boy at heart and I love it!
After waiting for the celebs to sign autographs for an hour and a half we went home and got ready to party the night away! We went to another dance and had a fabulous time! My sister text me about 9:45 telling me to wake her up when I got home, which I new instantly it was about my Grandma. (Plus I knew she didn't want to be woken up just because) She got really sick this week and they had taken her to the hospital. Two minutes later my cousin called me (sorry Meg) but I couldn't answer because there was no way I was able to hear anything. That is when I was positive that Grandma had passed away. I turned to Freddie and told him what I knew it was about and tried my best to enjoy the rest of the dance at least. He kept asking if I wanted to go, but I didn't want to ruin the fun for everyone. I wanted to go to Village Inn after and that's when it really hit me. I was really out of it plus I was super tired. I just have to say I have the greatest man and friends in my life. They are those people that no matter what they say they make you feel better! My Grandma was an incredible woman and I'm going to miss her. We have so many great memories together! One of my first memories with her was a "Tea Party" When she asked me if I wanted some tea which was really just juice I think I hid under the table and said "We don't drink tea" I was very shocked that my GRANDMA offered me tea and I just learned in primary that we don't drink it! I always take things so literally!
That is my classic "Macee, smile" face! I did it all the time when I was little! I dont ever remember being in a bad mood when I was around her. The first time I talked to her after my mom passed away was "Never forget how proud you made your mom, I don't think anyone loved anyone as much as she loved you and Ashleigh. You two were the greatest additions to our family" For the longest time I was the middle grandchild 13 in front of me and 13 behind me and grandma made sure I got every minute of attention! I'll miss her and her happy phone calls! You couldn't help but smile when you were with her she had the best stories and songs for everything! Literally! Now today Alana came home after being at her dads for three weeks and it was just what we needed! The house has been very quiet without a 6 year old running your life and Freddie is up at football ALLLLL DAAAAY. We went and took flowers to my moms grave, ordered in dinner, played the Wii, and well we fell asleep at 7 but she did get to do makeovers with my sister! WELCOME HOME PRINCESS!

Sorry to hear about your Grandma. It's hard to lose someone who has been such a big part of your life. Sounds like you had a lot of "good" with the "bad" this past week. I guess that's what life is all about. I hope you're doing okay. See ya soon...
