Family, The gospel, and more wedding bells!

FAMILY=Father And Mother I Love You

It's one of those days that I've realized how important family is and how mine has completely fallen apart. It's almost been two years since I lost the best friend in the world, and ever since then life doesn't seem the same. My mom was the most amazing role model and I never second guessed anything she taught me. I never felt alone because mom was always a phone call away. Dad I love you even though we don't talk as much as we used to. Life gets busy but there isn't a day that goes by that I am not thankful for all you have done and taught me. I'll always be your little girl! I'm so thankful for my friends and their families. Friday I spent the day at work where I am lucky enough to have 50 other women care about me and act as a mom, and all weekend was spent with friends families who focus on the gospel and made me realize how important it is in all of our lives. We had a party Saturday night at the girls' house and a girl came up to Buckles and I and said how impressed she was that there was no alcohol or anybody drunk there and when he told her we're not those kinds of people she was in shock, and had many questions for us. Sunday the fab five went to church together and the boys called us after and wanted to have FHE together. Together we have fun but realize what is truely important in life. Two more of my closest friends got engaged this week also and I am so happy for both of them! Kelsi and I have known each other since I was about 3 or 4 and have some of the best memories together! Then Blakely text me Saturday saying she was on her way over to the house and 20 minutes later she text me saying John proposed! I was SO happy! Blakes and I met two years ago at a bbq during Jazz playoffs, and we "hit it off" She has been such a great friend and always there for me through everything. Blakes, John, and I have had numerous talks about the gospel and I've never been more amazed and look forward to their big day! Like FB tells me "Stay close to those you care about, never let go of the ones you love, and stay away from those who have caused pain in your life"
We also attended the Draper Temple Dedication yesterday and it just made me feel so incredibly blessed to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. How blessed are we that we can be married for time and all eternity in these sacred places and be sealed to our families for forever. Why would I pass on that opportunity? I am so grateful for my parents for getting married in the temple so our family can be together forever. I admire the examples that my parents have been for me!
