Going pro is something we have talked about off and on but he was always leaning against it and after he graduated in May he was so happy that he finally got his degree knowing it's one of the most important things he needed in life and he was so happy to be able to get out there and get a job doing what he loves most! After the UTES went 13-0 and pulled a major upset he's talked numerous times with coaches since the time ran out in Nawlins and they all have told him to enter the NFL draft in April. He's doing it! It was very last minute and he feels like it's a win win situation for him. We've always joked that if he went pro I would marry him (thinking he never would)and now at least he knows I truly love him and I'm not doing it for the lifestyle. I seriously could not be more proud of him! We will see where this road leads to and we are all so excited for the adventures that will come from it! I'm EXTRA excited because this means he will be staying in Park City getting ready for the draft!
Yep Ash as little as he is he may be playing with the big boys! With our luck he'll play for Buffalo that is way to far for frequent visits for me while I am finishing school and he'll be playing in the cold! He is so positive about it all and says if things don't work out it will all be okay and he can stick with our "plan." Four months will be here before we know it and now it brings a whole new meaning! Way to go BUBBA!
