The second Red, White, and Blue weekend

The 24th weekend was a little crazy! Matt got called in to work an L rep 4 (whatever that means, he doesn't even know) all we knew was that it meant it was mandatory. We were all bummed that he was going to miss out on our plans. Anyways Friday night his mom wanted me to go watch the Bountiful fireworks with his family, so I dragged Katie (thanks BFF) up there and we ended up meeting up with a few friends of ours. After the fireworks we headed to Applebees for our late night snack! While we were there Matt called and said he was on his way home! YAY! While waiting for him to get home we got asked by a cop if we were going to break in to a computer store. (Dumb story, if you ask I'll tell). Anyways Teeg was supposed to come with us but instead he went to Lava Hot Springs with Jamon. So the three of us hung out at Matts forever and then decided to head down to the Days of '47 parade to meet up with some of our friends.

Matt hates parades and I told him he could stay home but he insisted on going. I felt bad because he works hard all week and really just wanted to sleep.

I don't understand why people sleep out. I did enjoy people watching, other than that it's not worth it! Matt and I were so grumpy and Katie was starving so we didn't stay for the whole thing. As we were taking Matt home, Ric called him to go golfing. He asked if he could go and I've never been happier saying yes. ha I was so tired and I just wanted to eat, shower, and sleep! Well that night we had tickets to the rodeo and then we were going to go camping. Well Teeg was going to stay up there another night so Katie ended up going out with Brad and I went up to Bountiful to be with Matt. We had so much fun with good movies, yummy food, playing with Reggie, talking just us and with his mom (who is hilarious). It turned out to be a good weekend even if things didn't really go to plan!
