"The boys are back"

Last week was one of the most exciting weeks I've had in a looong time! Two of my greatest friends returned from serving their missions! Tuesday night Jon was scheduled to fly in at 7:44, well due to complications in Miami he missed his flight from Dallas to Salt Lake so now we had to wait until 11:15 to see him. We filled in that time with some yummy Jamba, playing scum, and Rock Band and Tetris until our eyes hurt! Justins first time playing since he got home three weeks ago!

Finally the time came to head to the airport! Hayden and Brian with the cute sign he made for Jon! Teagan, Robyn, Hayden, and Trenton getting ready for him to walk out. This must have been before the family came and stood in front of the Hayden Dustin and Justin getting excited for his plane to land!Tanner looks so excited!There he is! (Sorry it's so dark) The first hug! Jon was in shock with how much Trenton grew it was so funny!We headed home after many welcome homes and around 1:00 we celebrated with some yummy cake and ice cream! The next day at work dragged on forever but it was worth every minute the night before! Thursday morning we headed to the airport one more time to pick up the other Elder Neilson!

We went back to the Neilsons for some lunch (Thank you so much Jeff and Teri!) and then Jeremy left with some friends to stop by his old work while Robyn, Teri, Trenton, Jon and I played Scum! It was pretty fun for Jon and I since we were mainly the King and Queen the whole time but poor Teri was stuck as scum for almost the whole game. While Jeremy was getting released Uncle Jon and Hayden "gigged for bugs." We had a hard time finding some but then Uncle Jon knew right where to look for some! The slugs Uncle Jon found, I forgot to get one of the centipede, but then Jon accidently killed it, so we made sure Hayden buried it!

Later that night we went to our friend Stuarts church so the boys could play basketball. I don't know if they were more excited to play for the first time in two years or to see how well Trenton plays now that he towers over both of them!

It's so fun having them home! They've also adjusted for the most part (excluding minor slips into spanish!) I'm sure Teri doesn't love the full house again, or the music blaring but maybe we can change that! Thank you for letting us come over every night though! I know nobody loves having them home as much as you! Only two more weeks left until school starts and I have mixed emotions! Fall semester is my favorite, it flies by and COLLEGE FOOTBALL every Saturday! I can't wait! Anyways, WELCOME HOME JON and JEREMY!
